ABOUT CORPORATE COACH ACADEMY


Set up in 2004, Corporate Coach Academy (or CCA) is a full fledged coach learning institution and the only one of its kind in this region.  It is credited to have introduced Coaching here and have made COACHING available to anyone who wants to have the ‘coach’ in them where they can empower  themselves and others take charge of their lives for extraordinary results.

It is set on its mission to ‘grow a vibrant coach community’ who can influence, shape and inspire positive changes in people’s life for higher performance and greater fulfillment.  Here is an avenue for those who aspire to be either professional coaches, workplace places or simply be a ‘coach’ in themselves. This is also an avenue for anyone to be coached to reach higher levels of growth and fulfillment in all areas of their lives.

CCA is founded on the philosophy that everyone can be and should be a coach as long as they desire to be better than what they are right now.  Through coaching, the potential powers of people are unleashed for the greatest moments to happen in their lives.

CCA is powered by a team of Professional Coaches who have been trained to work at world class standards.  They share a common coaching philosophy, a model and drive and they possess a similar set of coaching competencies that are distinctively a part of the CCA brand.  They are Coach Specialists, ranging from leadership, business, organizational, life and others. 

CCA, together with its other subsidiary, Corporate Coach, offer a wide range of coach-learning initiatives that include coach certification, coach-consultancy, coach-training programs and one-on-one coaching services for both individuals and organizations in this region.

Its clients are both local and international.  Some of them are: Government of Malaysia, Petronas, Shell, Siemens, Intel, Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation, European Union, Vietnam Tourism Ministry and many others.  
 

THE MASTER COACH & FOUNDER

Dr Michael Heah (mikeheah@corporate-coach.com) is the CEO of Corporate Coach Academy and Corporate Coach.  He is also the Adjunct Professor for University Utara, Kedah.  He is the Founder and the first President of the International Coach Federation, Malaysia Chapter.  He is a well known figure in Coaching and is a regular columnist and writer in the New Straits Times.

He is an ICF Credentialed Professional Certified Coach, the first in Malaysia and the very few in Asia to have acquired this world class coaching qualification.   He is also a Licensed Coach-Trainer from the International Coach Academy, another world renowned coaching institution.

Academically, he is qualified with a Doctorate and Masters in Hospitality & Tourism, a Degree in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Psychology from various universities in UK.  Michael’s contribution to Coaching in Malaysia and in this part of the world is tremendous.  Not only has he created a high Coaching presence in this region, but has also helped thousands of individuals, organizations, including universities to attain greater success. He actively coaches and certifies aspiring coaches to become professional and workplace coaches.  

Michael is also well known internationally. He is a member of a number of international coaching networks and he is perhaps, the first and only Malaysian (probably in Asia) to have coaching clients in many parts of the world, notably Europe, North America, Canada and Australia.   

He is well-backed up with more than 30 years of hands-on corporate exposure in a range of portfolios covering many industries, from a shop floor worker to senior management positions.
