        2 TYPES OF 1-ON-1 COACHING
 


4 COACH-MENTORED
1-ON-1 COACHING
 

PEER-CLIENT 1-ON-1 COACHING

  • Get mentored-coached by a Certified Coach;
     

  • Get first hand understanding of what real life coaching is like;
     

  • Get support to help you succeed personally and professionally as a Certified Coach.

  • You are to coach 3 clients;
     
  • Either on pro-bono or professional basis;
     
  • A minimum of 5 times of 2 hour duration for each session;

 

 

 

        EXAMINATIONS AND PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
 


EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS & METHODS
 

WRITTEN CASE STUDY PROJECT
  • Two (2)  written examinations
    a) Foundation (3 hours)
    b) Final (3 hours);
     
  • One (1) Oral Coaching Examination
     

  • Minimum passing marks: Average of 60 for both examinations (70 marks for those taking the ICF route).

  • A project paper of 2000-2500 words;
     

  • Project with evidence of coaching experience either on an individual or organization;
     

  • To be completed within 2 years after final examination.


 

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Duration For Completion

  • Must complete the entire learning curriculum successfully within 2 years from time of enrolment;

  • The modules can be taken in one block or at different stages as long as they are completed within a 2-year frame.

  • Attend all of them fully;
  • A 3-working day notice is required if there are programs that you are unable to attend.
1-On-1Coach-Mentoring
  • Attend all of them fully which are of 2.5 hours duration in each session;
  • Commitment to progress must be demonstrated;
  • Assignments must be fully completed.
2 Written & 1 Oral Examinations
  • Pass both the Foundation and Final examinations;
  • Maximum of 2 re-sits allowed for each examination;
  • Closed  book examination method of 3 hours each;
  • Minimum passing marks: 60 marks (or 70 for ICF Credentialing);
Project Case Study
  • Demonstrate original work, based on own coaching experience related to coaching knowledge gained;
  • 2,000 - 2,500 words in typed written copy;
  • Completion within 2 years from time of enrolment;
  • Minimum passing marks: 50 marks.



INVESTMENT

  • Fixed Schedule Certification
    Pay RM10,000 upon registration or in 2 equal installments of RM5,000 each at an interval of 2 months.
     

  • Non-Scheduled Certification
    Enrol and earn credit points that can be accrued to CCA's certification-related programs till you meet all its full requirements for Certification.  Fees will be based on current prices.

    • June:           13th – 15th

    • August:        08th – 10th

    • October:      10th - 12th

 CERTIFICATION TERMS
We like you to take note of these:

  • Confirmation of registration is upon full payment;

  • No refund for cancellation made after registration.  However, a substitute may be allowed to replace the registered participant; or the total fees paid could be transferred for payment to other programs if cancellation is made with not less than 7 working days notice;

  • A 30% forfeiture of the total fees will be deducted for cancellation with less than 7 working days notice; with the balance 70% to be used for  payment for other program.  Where there is a difference in fees structure in the next program, you shall settle the balance;

  • The company reserves the rights to change the venue or date of program if deem necessary.

THE MASTER COACH & FOUNDER

Dr Michael Heah (mikeheah@corporate-coach.com) is the CEO of Corporate Coach Academy and Corporate Coach.  He is also the Adjunct Professor for University Utara, Kedah.  He is the Founder and the first President of the International Coach Federation, Malaysia Chapter.  He is a well known figure in Coaching and is a regular columnist and writer in the New Straits Times.

He is an ICF Credentialed Professional Certified Coach, the first in Malaysia and the very few in Asia to have acquired this world class coaching qualification.   He is also a Licensed Coach-Trainer from the International Coach Academy, another world renowned coaching institution.

Academically, he is qualified with a Doctorate and Masters in Hospitality & Tourism, a Degree in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational Psychology from various universities in UK.  Michael’s contribution to Coaching in Malaysia and in this part of the world is tremendous.  Not only has he created a high Coaching presence in this region, but has also helped thousands of individuals, organizations, including universities to attain greater success. He actively coaches and certifies aspiring coaches to become professional and workplace coaches.  

Michael is also well known internationally. He is a member of a number of international coaching networks and he is perhaps, the first and only Malaysian (probably in Asia) to have coaching clients in many parts of the world, notably Europe, North America, Canada and Australia.   

He is well-backed up with more than 30 years of hands-on corporate exposure in a range of portfolios covering many industries, from a shop floor worker to senior management positions.
